EAGLE Charter School has had a busy week!
Picture day and vision screening on Monday went very well. Thank you parent volunteers for helping keep our students organized for both events!
Our last week of Leadership in micro is coming to a close. Next week students will vote for their government officials and will know which businesses will be up and running. Student managers will apply for jobs and start preparing for the job fair. We have had some wonderful donations for our business owners this week, who are preparing for their proposals.
Our reading groups started this week and Mrs. Quihuis shared that Kinders learned there are three ways to read a book. First, read the pictures. Second, read the words. Third, retell the story. This is exciting for beginner readers! Practice at home and enjoy some great books together.
Parent Club had elections this week and welcomed new officers to the team. We are happy to have them helping EAGLE and appreciate all that they do for our school.
Our attendance average this week was 96.9%. Great work EAGLE Families!
As Michael Phelps stated, “You can’t put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get.”
