If your student was accepted into our 2018/2019 kindergarten class, you should be receiving, or have already received, the following postcard in the mail:
"Your child has been enrolled in our kindergarten class for the 2018/2019 school year! Now the fun begins!
Please mark your calendar for the following:
What: Kindergarten Orientation (Your attendance will confirm your child’s placement.)
When: May 1, 2018 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Where: EAGLE Charter School, 999 Locust St. NE., Salem, OR 97301
Why: At the orientation, you will get the opportunity to meet your child’s teachers as well as our new EAGLE principal! This will also be your chance to complete paperwork for your child, learn about valuable skills that can help your child’s development over the summer, learn about expectations for students and families, and visit your first EAGLE Book Fair!

Materials Needed: Please bring a copy of your student’s immunization record, a copy of your student’s birth certificate, and your student! Childcare provided for potty trained or older siblings.

The regular meeting of the Board of Directors will be held Thursday April 19, 2018 at 6:00 PM. This meeting is held at 999 Locust St. NE in Salem. The board welcomes participation by the members of the public. To address an item on the agenda, before the scheduled start of the meeting, an individual must write their name and a short description of the agenda item on which they wish to comment on and submit this to the chair, along with any materials they way to distribute to the Board. If the individual wants to provide any written materials to the Board, these should be emailed or sent to the school principal at least twenty four (24) hours before the scheduled start of the meeting. The total time for any individual to present on an item on the agenda shall not exceed five (5) minutes, unless the Board grants additional time. Individuals desiring to make a formal presentation to the Board on an item not on the agenda but desiring it be placed on the agenda must provide notice and written submissions detailing the subject of the presentation to the school principal at least fourteen (14) days prior to the meeting. Any such presentation shall not exceed fifteen (15) minutes in duration, unless otherwise permitted by the chair.

* April 27, 2018 is a no school day.
* April 30, 2018 is a Sack Lunch Day. All students must bring a sack lunch since the cafeteria will be closed.

Are you interested in attending EAGLE in the future? If so, please attend our Open House tonight, 2/22/18, at 6:00pm. At the Open House, you will get the opportunity to meet all of our staff, see our school, and hear a little bit about what makes EAGLE amazing! Our K-2 team currently has a project posted on Donors Choose to bring ceramics classes to our students. Please share the link with family and friends. We love having the opportunityto bring new experiences to our students! Thank you for your support!
Our Math/STEM Night that was scheduled for Feb. 27, 2018 is cancelled. We have something in the works so, please stay tuned for more updates on this!
Open House & Intent Form Info!
We've received some questions from parents about the Open House that is being held on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 6:00pm. The Open House is NOT for returning students. This is an opportunity for new families that are interested in enrolling their student in EAGLE to learn more about EAGLE and receive a tour of our building. Therefore, if you know of anyone that is interested in sending their child to EAGLE next year, please spread the word!
For returning students, today we will be sending home an Intent Form which we request be returned to EAGLE by Feb. 23, 2018. The Intent Form will ensure your student's spot will be saved for them next year and it will also give you the opportunity to secure a spot for an incoming kindergarten sibling.
